Marketing Manager

Clare’s creativity and flair for design stems from her background in print and reprographics.

She directs the marketing strategy that gives Countryman Fairs’ events an excellent national and local profile. Away from the office, Clare enjoys taking part in Clay and Game shooting and enjoys supporting Gundog Working Tests and Field Trials.

Here’s a bit more about Clare…

• When’s your birthday? – 22nd May - Star sign Gemini
• What are your main interests? - Working dogs, shooting, reading good novels, mountain biking ‘on the road!’, running, fashion and shopping!  I have recently found a passion for cooking, but have given up on the ironing!
• What you enjoy doing outside work? - I love spending time with family and friends. I started game shooting this season for the first time, was great fun!  I enjoy being with my dogs, attending Working Tests and Field Trials. The community spirit is wonderful.  I enjoy anything outdoors and being in the countryside is a plus.  Dining out and sampling wine.  Watching girlie chick flicks when my husband is at darts!
• Something you’d really like to do, a lifelong ambition? - Swim with Dolphins in Hawaii! Do the ‘run/ walk for life’ along the Great Wall of China for the British Heart Foundation (In support of my Mum to raise awareness of the rare heart condition she has) I’d one day like to road trip around America and see the great natural wonders such as Niagara Falls.
• Any other interesting facts about yourself? - In 2008 I overcame my fear of swimming with and attempted a 2.4 mile Ironman triathlon swim. I didn’t quite make the grade but overcoming my fear of the water was a great achievement. I’ve completed a 5k ‘Race for Life’, The Chasewater 10k and Sefton Triathlon.
