Highclere Game and Country Fair - Main Arena

The Highclere Country Fair Main Arena is the focal point of this event, showcasing an unrivalled array of international demonstrators, who are each at the top of their chosen sport.  These include famous names and familiar faces, many of who are regarded as old friends by our visitors.  Blending entertainment and humour with expert knowledge, our Main Arena programme has something for all our visitors to enjoy.

Brian Brinded, Netmaking at the Main ArenaRabbits are one of the most common pests in the UK, causing untold amounts of damage to crops, trees and gardens.  But, fortunately, help is on hand in the form of master netsman Brian Brinded, known to his friends as “Brin”.

For over 18 years The Highclere Country Fair has welcomed some of the worlds leading pipe bands to perform in the Main Arena, and we are delighted to welcome the Green Hackle Pipe Band in 2010.

Dog and trainer at the main arenaBased at Lains Shooting School, Mullenscote Gundogs started training dogs for the shooting field in 1987. Their first clients were friends who saw their dogs work up through the field, and were so impressed that they asked for help with their training.
