The Kelmarsh Country Fair marks the start of the game fair season, and is the fastest growing event in the Countryman Fairs portfolio.
Showcasing country life at its best, the Kelmarsh Country Fair attracts a fusion of families and field sports enthusiasts who take part in an outstanding range of countryside attractions and family entertainment.
From World renowned field sports competitions offering the largest prize funds in their respective disciplines to many "have a go" opportunities to learn more about outdoor pursuits and the Great British countryside, the Kelmarsh Country Fair has everything you could need for a great family day out.
The Kelmarsh Country Fair has a truly international flavour. Over 250 of the world’s finest Hunter Field Target shooters join us from across the globe to compete in the World Hunter Field Target Championships. You can watch the action unfold for yourself by accessing the courses via the footbridge across the lake where the courses wind their way through the grounds of Kelmarsh Hall.
If the action in the World Hunter Field Target Championship inspires you to start airgun shooting, the Sporting Airgun ranges are the next stop for you. After having a lesson with the ATEO, Airgun Expo offers you the perfect place to buy all the equipment needed to start shooting. Airgun Expo forms the heart of Gunmakers Row, which year offers more shooting related products than ever before, and when combined with Gamekeepers Row offers one of the UKs most comprehensive showcases of shooting sports.
The Kelmarsh Country Fair offers something for all fieldsportsmen, and we are pleased to welcome back established feature areas such as the Kelmarsh Angling Festival and the Working Dog Village. An exploration of all things canine, the Working Dog Village hosts the Mitsubishi Motors World Series Gundog Championship, Gundog and Heritage Breed Pavilions, Gundog Scurries, Working Test, Pet Dog Show and have-a-go agility and the Working Dog Arena.
The Mitsubishi Motors Clay Shooting Festival offers a wise range of clay shooting competitions, and will stage the first qualifying round of the Mitsubishi Motors World Series Clay Shooting Championships. Expert tuition by qualified coaches is also available for those wanting to brush up on their technique.
However, for those just looking for a great, relaxing family day out, the Kelmarsh Country Fair offers over 250 exhibition stands for the perfect retail therapy, picnic areas, 7 feature arenas, children’s entertainment, food festival, craft and antiques fairs to culminate in the perfect family day out in the countryside.
