Bob fished 20 consecutive angling championships for England, winning 4 individual and 7 team gold medals. His first England cap was in Switzerland in 1984, his most memorable win was at Holme Pierrepoint England in 1994 in front of 20,000 spectators when Bob won Gold in the individual class and England won gold as a team.

At the Kelmarsh Game and Country Fair, Bob will be demonstrating his skills with the long pole, showing how to feed accurately using a pole cup, mixing groundbait and loose feeding. Bob will be talking about pole rigs, elastics and using all his skills to catch the various species of fish in the lake.
