A distinctive figure in his camouflage clothing, Jan Porter is a former Norwegian International competitor who is renowned as a match angler. He has captained the Norwegian team in the Freshwater World Championships,

and also managed an historic double victory with Trentham AC when the team won the Angling Times Winter League and the Division 1 National title.

Jan is a senior consultant for Shimano and dedicated specimen angler, he also writes for several angling publications. He will be introducing audiences to the secrets of specimen angling, to help catch bigger fish than your friends do!
