Clay Shooting Tuition - Gun Fitting and Eye Dominance
Last Updated on Wednesday, 21 July 2010 12:22
So you’ve found the perfect gun, invested in quality coaching and you’re still missing the birds? It can be hugely frustrating. The number one cause of missed birds, game or clay, occurs when your gun is not shooting where you are looking. If you want to improve your clay pigeon shooting it is essential that you have your eye dominance and gun fit checked on a regular basis. This can make a massive difference to consistency in breaking clay targets.
Doveridge Shotgun Academy will be providing a detailed gun fit and eye dominance analysis in the Mitsubishi Clay Pigeon Shooting Festival at each Countryman Fairs event in 2010. The sessions will last approximately 30 minutes, and will aim to make you and your shotgun shoot as one.
During the session each individual will be given an eye dominance check and then the instructor will check the fit of your shotgun. Recommendations will then be made, and Doveridge Clay Sports resident gunsmith can then carry out alterations, by appointment. Take your clay pigeon shooting to the next level with a gun fit session from the Doveridge Shotgun Academy.
Gun Fit Sessions cost £20. Please book via email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or call 07795 143116 to avoid disappointment.
