To complement the developments in the Kelmarsh Angling Festival, we have the pleasure of welcoming some of the countries leading experts into the Kelmarsh Angling Festival Arena. When you not shopping for all essential fishing equipment or competing in the UK Multi-Discipline Casting Championship why not relax in front of the Angling Arena and watch how the experts catch the prey.

Bob Nudd MBE:

Four times world coarse angling champion Bob Nudd MBE is without doubt on of the most popular demonstrators of Coarse Angling in the UK. Bob will be offering visitors to Kelmarsh Angling Festival an enlightening and entertaining approach to catching Big Fish in freshwater. Bob will be available after each presentation to answer any queries you may have.

Hywel Morgan:

Hywel is one of the most popular faces in fly fishing having been successful in the casting scene since the age of sixteen. He has worked as a tackle consultant for numerous companies over the last eight years, helping to develop products for the British Market. He is now European Product Development Manager for Scierra.

Hywel has presented programmes on fishing for Welsh TV channel S4C for a few years. He has also made appearances on 'Record Breakers', the 'Big Breakfast' and has been a guest on Sky TV's 'Tight Lines', and brings his extensive knowledge of fly fishing to the Kelmarsh Angling Festival Arena.

Charles Jardine:

Charles Jardine is one of the most well-known faces in the fly fishing world, through his many appearances at shows around the UK, and his work as Director of the Countryside Alliance’s Campaign for Angling.

Charles views angling as an essential way of bringing communities together, and he places an active role in a whole host of events to introduce angling to new audiences. His display at Kelmarsh will show why he has enjoyed a lifetime in fly fishing, and what he believes it can offer the next generation as well.

Jan Porter:

A distinctive figure in his camouflage clothing, Jan Porter is a former Norwegian International competitor who is renowned as a match angler. Jan is now a senior consultant for Shimano and dedicated specimen angler, and he also writes for several angling publications. He will be introducing audiences to the secrets of specimen angling, to help you catch bigger fish than your friends do!
