Midland Game Fair Access Information

The Midland Game Fair’s new layout has given us greater flexibility on access into the show. Therefore visitors, exhibitors and competitors wishing to access certain parts of the Midland Game Fair should follow the directional information below.

Exhibitors
For 2008 all exhibitors are asked to use the Main Gate entrance on the A5. Please follow directional signs for exhibitors. On show days there will be no entry to the show site for exhibitor vehicles after 7.30am. After this vehicles will be parked in the exhibitor’s car park, through the Shrewsbury Gate.
In your information pack you will receive directional information, your stand location and your passes. Please ensure that all passes are displayed in your vehicles, this will dramatically speed up site access. Please follow all exhibitor directional signage to avoid unnecessary delays.
Clay Shooting Line
Clay Shooters will once again have a dedicated car park with close access to the Clay Shooting Line. The car park is accessed from the A41 where shooters should follow signs for shooting.
From the North: use A41.
From all other directions: use M54 J3—A41 North.
From the Campsite: turn right out of the campsite onto Offoxey Road, right onto Mill Lane and then right onto Tong Drive, following signs for shooters.
Please follow all directional signage for Shooters. The A5 should be avoided if at all possible as shooters may be delayed in other show traffic.
Terrier and Lurcher Competitions
This year the Midland Game Fair will offer terrier and lurcher competitors ringside parking closer to the showing and field events than ever before.
Due to the alterations in layout of this year’s Midland Game Fair, the terrier and lurcher showing rings have now been moved next to a dedicated car park. The straight racing course and the simulated coursing will also be within a stone’s throw of the car park and the entry tent.
Those entering the showing and field events are recommended to arrive early in order to take advantage of the car parking.
From the West: use M54 J2—A449 North—A5 West.
From all other directions: use M6 J12—A5 West.
From the Campsite please exit left onto Offoxey Road, left at the cross roads in Bishops Woods, Left at the T junction onto the A5, left into Lichfield Drive.
Please follow all directional signage for Terrier and Lurchers. Using different routes could result in
unnecessary delays.
The BFTA Car Park is open before 08.30 and after 18.00 on the 20th & 21st September. There will be strictly no vehicle movement between these times to comply with Health & Safety regulations and prevent unnecessary danger to pedestrians. Any vehicle found moving during this period will be removed and denied access indefinitely. Alternative Parking will be in the Public Car Park, which is accessible throughout the day. If it is likely that you will need
your car or leave site during show opening times please park in the public car park. Please approach from the east along the A5 and enter using the Lichfield Entrance Sign Posted “BFTA”

Hart Gundog Scurries have now changed location. For close proximity to the car park handlers should use the Lichfield entrance off the A5.

Usimg different routes could result in unecessary delays and could result in you being parked further away from the Hart Gundog Scurries than necessary.
Disabled car parking
Each car park has designated forward disabled car parking.
for visitors who have booked scooters through Event Mobility, parking is available by the collection point through the Main Gate from the A5.
