Kelmarsh Country Fair hosts the inaugral
World Hunter Field Target Championships
Countryman Fairs and the World Hunter Field Target Association (WHFTA) are proud to announce that Kelmarsh Country Fair will be hosting the World Hunter Field Target Championships in 2009.

Target Shooting is such that it was only a matter of time before a competition
was bought to the world stage. We are proud to be staging the first
ever World Hunter Field Target Championship at Kelmarsh
Country Fair in 2009. Countryman Fairs organise the UK’s leading
group of countryside events. They have a reputation and proven track
record of hosting the finest Championships in wide variety of field
sports.
Kelmarsh Hall’s grounds diverse range of different terrain making it ideal for simulating the most testing of hunting situations. Its central location within the country and easy transport links make Kelmarsh Hall the perfect venue.”
Hunter Field Target shooting has become so popular that the WHFTA are expecting at least 250 of the world’s top shooters to enter. The courses will be set within the Kelmarsh Country Fair allowing visitors to witness shooters of all abilities battle it out for the title World Hunter Field Target Champion 2009. All entrants receive a unique WHFTA 2009 event badge and the WHFTC’s unique prize giving format means that each entrant, regardless of their posted score, has a chance of winning their share of prizes on offer.
