Clay Shooting Competitions – English Sporting (World Series Qualifier)
Last Updated on Tuesday, 16 March 2010 13:23
Enter the Mitsubishi Motors World Series Clay Shooting Championship for your chance to win the biggest prize in clay shooting! English Sporting is the most popular clay shooting discipline in the UK.
At the Sussex Country Fair, Doveridge Shotgun Academy is pleased to present a challenging 50-bird sporting layout, to be shot over 8 stands.
You do not have to be a member of the CPSA or BASC to enter. If you don’t have a CPSA classification, you will be allocated a class on the day according to CPSA rules.
What makes English Sporting such an exciting clay shooting discipline is the fact that there are no limits to the types and variations of targets that can be presented. From bolting rabbits to driven pheasant, the course builders can be very innovative in how they set the course. You are unlikely to ever see two targets the same, which is fitting at a country fair on a sporting estate!
The Sporting Layout at the Sussex Country Fair is also the qualifying competition for the Mitsubishi Motors World Series Clay Shooting Championship. This ground breaking competition offers shooters of all abilities a real chance to win the biggest prize in clay shooting, a brand new Mitsubishi L200 Barbarian worth over £26,000!
